Azienda storica di agricoltori, fin dal XVII secolo, la famiglia Scala ha sempre dedicato molto impegno alla coltivazione dei vigneti, producendo sin dal 1949, una raffinata selezione di vini Cirò. La cantina è una realtà che non ha alterato le peculiarità dell’antico casolare. Gli impianti all’interno sono tecnologicamente avanzati, ma l’esterno è stato sapientemente restaurato rispetto all’aspetto originario della struttura, come dimostrano i vasi vinari in muratura. La cultura della raffinatezza si è poi tramandata di padre in figlio e attualmente Luigi e Francesco Scala, viticoltori nella cantina di sempre, continuano la produzione del Cirò con grande richiamo alle tradizioni di famiglia.
Historic farm of agriculturists , since the seventeenth century, the Scala family has always dedicated a lot of effort to the cultivation of vineyards, producing ,since 1949, a refined selection of Cirò wines. The cellar is a reality that has not altered the peculiarities of the old farmhouse. The systems inside are technologically advanced, but the exterior has been expertly restored respecting the original appearance of the structure, as demonstrated by the masonry wine vessels. The culture of refinement was then handed down from father to son and actually Luigi and Francesco Scala, who have always been winemakers in the cellar, continue the production of Cirò with great reference to family traditions.
