Senatore Vini

Fu all’alba del Novecento che i nonni Francesco Senatore e Giuseppe Sculco fondarono la loro prima cantinetta nella zona Corfu Vecchiu di Cirò. Negli anni ’40 fu costruita l’antica cantina in pietra in località Corfu Novu, che ha rappresentato per circa mezzo secolo la sede dell’attività, fin quando i 4 fratelli, Raffaele, Salvatore, Giuseppe e Franco Senatore, hanno dato vita nel 2005, all’odierna azienda sita a “San Lorenzo” di Cirò Marina, un moderno stabilimento di 4500 mq, dotato dei più innovativi sistemi di vinificazione e di macchinari enologici di nuova concezione. Oggi l’azienda è rappresentata da un patrimonio di 40 ettari di terreno di cui circa 32 vocati a vigna e produce 250.000 bottiglie all’anno, tra le quali spiccano le nuove referenze Biologiche.

It was at the dawn of the twentieth century that grandparents Francesco Senatore and Giuseppe Sculco founded their first cellar in the Corfu area Vecchiu of Cirò. In the 1940s the old stone cellar was built in Corfu Novu , which represented the headquarters of the business for about half a century, until the 4 brothers, Raffaele, Salvatore, Giuseppe and Franco Senatore, gave birth in 2005, to today’s company located in “San Lorenzo” of Cirò Marina, a modern plant of 4500 square meters, equipped with the most innovative winemaking systems and oenological machinery of new conception. Today the company is represented by a heritage of 40 hectares of land of which about 32 are suitable for vineyards and produces 250,000 bottles a year, among which the new biological references stand out.
